I wouldn't and I love the kat man. He could well be right but he clearly, and probably justifiably, has am axe to grind with Clarke. That means you put what he says about Clarke in context

If he was on his Pat Malone and no one else in the squad thought along the same lines as him, he wouldn't make the point.

Maybe. But he doesn't like Clarke and is basically on record that he doesn't like Clarke. Therefore everything he says about Clarke has to be taken with that knowledge in hand.

Put it this way, he's no more an authority on Clarke than any other former player imo. I'm not saying he's wrong, but I'm not going to automatically think he's right because he played with him and also may speak to ex-players who played with Clarke. A whole lot of ex-players with agendas say a whole lot of ****.

Didn't even notice Mark Taylor today really, just Nicholas oozing something about Neil Harvey enjoying Uzzie then the 500th mention of Warner doing sprint training this series by Brett Lee no less.

Russell Jackson (Guardian writer), usual critic of them, has indicated that they've at least made an effort to correct some of the issues that came in for criticism.

Nicholas making comments just so he can hear his own voice [x]
Brett Lee making pointless comments [x]
Slats screaming at the top of his lungs for no reason [x]
Taylor sounding like he'd rather be doing another Fujitsu ad [x]
Brayshaw being odious and terrible [x]

Thankfully it's been offset by Chappell going off his long run at Smith being at 4 and being a cynical old man as usual and Ian Smith not saying wee bit not even once this summer despite being dreadful.

Southee and Boult are half-injured, our other seamers are much of a muchness and Craig is a mediocre spinner bowling in Australia. Also Warner is good at batting.

According to the media David Warner only needs to turn up tomorrow to surpass Brian Lara's record.

What an achievement. The greatest Australian since Anthony 'twin turbo' Mundine.

They're being less obviously buffoonish thus far, no pizza discussions thus far and more actual cricket. Healy and Slater are still annoying as ****, though.
