No fooling around from punt. That being said dont think he can bat even against his daughter without looking to win

Yeah you aren't going to get any Maricans in to the game through this. Tell them as much as you like about how good these guys are but all they would see is some elderly gentlemen rolling it down at 70 mph.

Don't think they'l get in to it but if you wanna try it i'll recommend a league with AB,Kohli,Smith,Starc etc
I don't know that the point is to get people who have no interest at all in the game to become fans. If you were already familiar with the game a chance to go out and see these legends would help cement your interest. And even if it is mostly enthusing the ex=pat communities that isn't a problem. If American businesses see a big enough market then money will flow into the game and that alone will help raise the profile.

Really? I thought the whole deal was to try and bring cricket to America, expand the game etc. Otherwise why not just host it in India?
That's just PR talk.. a couple of exhibition games isn't gonna change anything in the US. it's just what cricketers say so that it sounds good.

Curtley's radar isn't right
It is a bit of a shame that anyone who doesn't remember the utter awesomeness of the man will just see an old trundler. Just seeing him again on a field is a massive thrill for me though because of the memories it invokes.

If anything this will turn Americans away from the game.. when they see old farts bowling at military medium they will think it's a joke of a game tbh.

Yeah this is it. It's about attracting American business interest, not grassroots interest.

Akhtar honestly looks like he could bowl at 135-140k for 4 overs easily still.. at 40 years that's impressive.
