**Official** Pakistan and England in the UAE 2015/16

Rahat Ali has improved so much. Bowling with a lot of craft.
He is so up and down, at times he can be a world beater, but when off color he is horrid. I still like to think their is an absolute gun bowler in him though.,

Pitch seems horrible for both bowlers and batsmen. Not a huge amount in it for bowlers but no life for batsmen to score with. Yuck.

It isn't great but Bell has got 16 runs in this session with 10 minutes till tea. It isn't that bad.
He is also 3rd top scorer in match and still not out. He should have looked to rotate more but OTT criticism with people acting like he is losing us the match.

Liked the session. Nice battle. Pakistan bowled well and it was important for England to not lose lot of wickets. Some balls from the spinners turned a lot. Will be tough in the fourth inning for the English.

Game has turned in an instant.
My thoughts exactly. Even with the low first-innings total....you don't want Cook and Root back in the pavillion for under 100.
Well, Bell & Taylor surviving until tea with 38 runs scored so far for the 4th wicket, have turned things back one more time, right? To be fair, 135/3 in reply to 234 is something any team would take at any given match.

Taylor has looked good, busy and scored well. Bell needs to rotate strike more but also there grinding away. These two need to take us under 50 behind minimum with the soft underbelly we have.

Wouldn't call either the losing of two wickets or the partnership turn arounds. They are 'progresses' for both teams. Would use turn around for some thing a bit more substantial at least. The game is quite even with an hour giving one team the upper hand at times.

Boycott just said if you add two wickets and assume Stokes isn't going to bat it doesn't look too clever. Tufnell just said you get the feeling wickets could fall in a cluster at any time. Super.

I don't think England have that soft an underbelly! Apart from Stokes not coming out to bat today (has that been confirmed?), things look ok for England, not? Patel, Rashid & Broad are some 8, 9 & 10.

Stop spoiling our childish enthousiasm!

Stokes won't bat I am 99% sure, so Bairstow, Patel, Rash is our middle order. Very hit or miss players.

Batting in the fourth inning is going to be quite tough here if the pitch keeps taking more turn. England would ideally want a lead of 30-50 runs keeping this in mind.

Helpful to have the batting depth though, tbh. You'd rather Rashid pushed up the order than a pure bowler.

Pakistan out of reviews then. Not sure reviewing caught behinds is good idea with technology available.
