Morgie, if you're about you're good to go with a double pick (time out at 2:30 AEST) and Dan can make his missed pick any time.

Yeah Joel Paris will debut in the second game if/when Mitch Johnson is with the Test team.

I don't think they'll play all 3 left quicks in game 1 and will include Tye instead.

So my side:

1. Marcus Harris
2. Jordan Silk
3. Usman Khawaja
4. Michael Klinger
5. Peter Handscomb
6. James Faulkner
7. Chris Hartley
8. Ashton Agar
9. John Hastings
10. Chadd Sayers
11. Billy Stanlake

12. Kelvin Smith
13. Joel Paris

Pretty happy with that. It's a pretty young side though, I'm hoping for a few breakouts and selection to go my way.

Darn, wanted Paris this round.

Not liking any of the remaining options, but I'll go for Doherty simply because he'll get games, and he has a weird ability to look ok statistically for Tasmania these days.

It's getting a little on the thin side obvs. Paris and X were two guys high on my watch list.

So seeing as it's started pissing down I'm going for a little Rainbird. Pretty happy he made it this late actually. I think he's a cert to play for Tassie and so will take NCN's spot at least in round 1.

Yeah, almost took Rainbird ahead of George myself.

As a side-note, George + Stanlake bowling together would be interesting. Two huge men.

Pretty good balance and apart from Uzi before Christmas and Forkers after (maybe also Agar) mostly guys who will be first choices week in week out. I reckon one of Stanlake or Paris will have a big year. Was really hoping to pick up either late in the draft.

Good pick with Rainbird. Still someone else I can't believe hasn't been picked yet too.

Yeah George, Stanlake, Paris and Rainbird where in a group I was keeping tabs on to strengthen my quicks. There are a few other quicks who I think will play plenty of Shield still in the pot. That's why I was more worried about putting the top order together. Less class in the batting to choose from I reckon.

Yeah, awta. And less likelihood of batting being rotated in and out depending on games, too. All of our quicks are young and get injured, so the depth quicks are more likely to get game time than depth batsmen IMO.
