Think South Africa missed a trick by not calling up A Morkel, this is same lack of 5th bowler issue that affected their ODI side balance during the world cup.

2 all. The last ODI will be the decider. No team has won a game chasing yet.

They might as well just do the toss for the 5th ODI and hand the trophy to whoever calls correctly.

lol @ Pratters and kp... classy guys... I said my last on that issue earlier in the thread and I am not going back on that. Great win for India. Lovely to see Harbhajan showing glimpses of what he could have been and hopefully, still can be, at least in these formats. Bhajji in the side gives us a lower order hitter too, which we so sorely lack. Kohli was just awesome and Rahane, as uncomfortable as he looks trying to get singles and he does look limited in his strokeplay against spinners (srsly, can he ever step down the track and hit the ball straight, like ever?), produced the goods. Ideally I would open with Rahane and Rohit in the next game and get Rayudu in to bat at 6, which he did pretty well for MI this season. Hopefully Raina gets his mojo back as a hitter. Dhoni can try to bed in at 4?

I am almost a bit afraid to be criticizing Dhawan's form. He's a bit of an enigma, isn't he? He can be in the absolute ****test of forms but then something big comes up and he always somehow manages to get on gear.... Haven't clicked in any of the matches up until now, will be interesting to see what he does in the decider.

Nah, I believe Dhawan is good for us and he will come back in the long run. But in the context of winning this series and given his form and general lack of confidence, I would rather drop him for Rayudu at least for Mumbai.

Optimistic belief that. I can see Dhawan eventually getting dropped totally the same way IND dropped Gambhir/Sehwag coincidentally for Dhawan, as soon as they can find replacements in the various formats. Enough good bowlers worldwide know how to get him out.

Dhawan's still far too awesome in ODIs to be left out permanently IMO. I can see him getting moved on from the Test side soonish, and I can see why you'd leave him out for the next ODI too based on form, but he's just too good in one day cricket to be dispensed with any time soon.

ABD deserves a better middle order. I think SA is in denial about their chasing issues and how awful Miller and Behardien are when batting second.
