Where did I say it was not hot and humid? I said it was not AS bad as you are making it out to be. Its Chennai, of course there is always humidity. Its the coast, for God's sakes..
So you are saying South African cricketers can cope completely well with it and won't be affected. Yeah, I believe they are all super heroes. Next time, I am will wear a cape with a beard on.

Whatever it takes!!!
South African players often cramp in those conditions... derailed many a run chase for us in the past.

It could be worse of course... what a fantastic yardstick.

Yeah... cramps are what makes RSA lose run chases...

For the umpteenth time, I am saying this... It is not as bad as a 40 degree day. RSA players will be fine and the wet towels will do the work. Anyone who bats 30+ overs here will feel the heat, and dare I say in most places in India. Does not make it "unbearable" heat. That has been the point all along.

No, I am saying it will not have AS big an impact when they bat and they will be fit as ever. Or, I could use your posts as reference and think, you know, no one has ever played an ODI before in Chennai, chased and won... Everyone was busy getting on the ice and could not bat. 8-)

AGain, conveniently ignoring that ***** posted about the "possibility" of us losing a couple of quick wickets, which happens fairly often in LOIs. Are you trying to tell me that you knew all along that we wont lose quick wickets when ***** made that post?
I thought it was unlikely we won't get 300. I have already explained why. You don't get it. Kill me.

And I thought ***** posted a valid point and it was not Gambiring. You might not agree with him and think they wil get 300 easily but his post was not Gambhiring, which is what I said in the first place. Take that ice bath and let that get to you.

So you are agreeing it will have an impact, like I said it will have an impact. But it will not have a lot of impact. But I am just saying it would have an impact fielding for so long in that heat and humidity. So you are agreeing with me. Yet you are getting angry at me. Ok.

I am agreeing that it is hotter than any average venue but disagreeing with your hyperbole and think it will not have any tangible impact on the run chase. I have seen teams chase down scores here playing in much hotter conditions.

It seemed like it to me, so I asked, as I thought we were likely go get 300. As I felt they were likely to get 300, I said it's Gambhiring. I still believe they were likely to get 300. So for me, it would still seem like Gambhiring. Get it? No? Thought so.

If you face humidity and hot weather, you are likely to be affected by it, whether you are a professional cricketer or not. It's not that difficult to derive. How much it will affect which player, who knows.

International Coach
Amla is a tricky one, he is a complete failure in the ICC competitions, but if he starts failing in bilateral series which is what he has been doing recently, what is the point of him?

Just because something "seemed" to be something "to you", it does not mean it is true. Get it? No? Thought so.

You are the one who seems to know, to be honest, coz you said they will need ice baths.

EDIT: And for the last time, I never said it was not hot and humid. I said you were exaggerating a hell of a lot for what are basically above ordinary hot conditions. Nothing anyone has never faced before.
