BARNES OUT
There was a perfectly good goal ruled out late in the game due to an awful offside call, plus Bony had a 1v1 with Federici ruled out due to another dodgy offside call. Honking refereeing all game as well, Bournemouth had a penalty shout ignored early in the game as well.

Van Dijk defending like a clown for both goals.
Should have seen him against the Czechs. Complete ****e.

Might put people off signing players from the SPL. Wanyama was a good one but he'd been playing really well in the CL. Not too many other successes.

Steven Davis has been quietly effective for Southampton.

Naismith at Everton's done OK for a freebie as well.

Do we think all the promoted sides could stay up this year? There's some genuine dross in the likes of Villa and Sunderland.

Think Villa will scrape through again. And I'm making the bold call they'll do it with Sherwood at the helm. I mean ffs they gave McLeish and Lambert enough time....

Sunderland, depends what Allardyce can do. If anyone can save them, its him. However they need a proper clearout of dross up there, to be replaced by Kevin Nolan and Andy Carroll, and probably Jay Jay Okocha.

You see the ****e he was peddling to sell his book this week? Delusional prick. Sunderland are a horrid club, really need to go down, thought so even before they hired him.

I used to have a lot of time for Sunderland. This back in the late 90s/early 00s. Their fans never gave it the billy big bollocks when they came to Prenton Park, unlike the likes of Forest, Sheff Wed & Leeds over the years (got to say the City fans were great in that respect too), they played good football and when they went up were likeable in general.

But over the last decade they've just turned into Newcastle mixed with Stoke and I'd love to see them flounder. Hiring the biggest **** in the history of the game just cements it.

Yeah I've always found their fans to be quality too. Word on the street is there's a huge drinking culture in the dressing room and when managers try to fix it they stop trying. Might just be what can happen when a club changes manager too often, the players know they won't get the blame for bad performances.

Hector has seriously made himself indispensable for us. Seriously worried about his Barca DNA though.

Sunderland hired O'Neill years ago to be fair.

Yeah, he' so goo. Improvement in the last year has been ridiculous. Have a feeling most non Arsenal fans probably underestimate how good he is defensively as well.
