Not sure about the idea of Miller opening. He is good for 30-40 runs which might be far more handy at number 6 than it is as an opener.
Plus the move means Amla and du Plessis have to move one further down. Amla is going through a pretty bad patch by his standards. Miller should be used as lower middle order run scorer or not at all.

Reckon it's just a stop-gap solution. They'll probably drop Miller from the squad and bring in another lower order batsman for the next series.

Mohhiitttttt

Dat back-of-the-hand slower ball. So good.

Blessing in disguise for SA. Enough time for ABDV to smack a 200.

Faf should buy a lottery ticket tonight.

Second ball from Axar that spat up like that tho. There are some demons in this pitch

India haven't bowled badly at all today. Some misfields, and the Mohit no-ball wicket a big blunder, but generally have been good.

This wicket is just so flat. If India can stay tight and disciplined for the rest of the innings, we should be able to chase whatever SA put up.

But ofc what's more likely is that we fall apart in the death as ABDV whacks us about for a 50 ball 100.

genuinely feel Kock is so tired from the heat that its better for India if he is out there rather than Devilliers coming in

Yea the plan now should be to just keep these two in there and let them pick the 1s and 2s, and avoid getting ABDV, Duminy and Behardien in.

If that means not going for catches and aiming wide of the stumps then so be it.
