Mohammed Hafeez is making the most of his 35th birthday.
Yeah he's looked good.

Seems the afternoon session will be all about Younis though (and Misbah). Bloke looks immovable

Edit: good shout here, think they will go with the ump though

I can't see it like Key has that it is a clear deflection.

I am only on a stream on computer though so not clearest picture.

Yeah he has no reason to be so sure. The point should be that a hamstrung DRS isn't really any use, they will almost never overturn.

I suppose England ought to consider that when opting to review but that's really not their job.

****ing ICC need to front the cost of the technology so it is available in every series. Downright ridiculous to make the locals pay for it.

Nah you give these gits an inch they take a mile, soon Sky and 9 and everyone else would be getting the ICC to pay the bills for them while still making millions.

Should just say that if you don't pay for the equipment you don't get to be host broadcaster

Let's not forget that the primary point of DRS is to overturn (really) bad decisions. This wasn't a bad decision.

Don't know why deflection was not considered. The laws of the earth must have changed and the ball must have been deflected by its own while going past the bat.

And it's the TV people who shout the loudest for these things as it 'improves their coverage'.

Just watching The Verdict from yesterday and saw two respected former Test players talking utter garbage suggesting changing the no ball Law to the foot at the point of delivery rather than where it lands.

They expect the umpire to watch the foot and hand at the very same moment  - oh, and then immediately focus for everything else in the delivery :wacko:
