These two owed some wickets from the Summer. Don't know why they bowled so little earlier when it mattered and are on now when it's almost meaningless.

Yea, the odd thing was that the main spinners bowled longer unbroken spells when they were getting smashed all over the place. I guess not just the seamers needed to be mixed around. Root certainly could have bowled more. Have Bell bowl a few so he's not in the slips to drop them.

They bowled well. Really well and that shows that this is far from a road.
Having said that, England really need to develop players with skill set that would be suit cricket outside of England as well. At the very least, they need spinners like Vettori or Shakib who can at least keep things tight and not get milked so easily.
