For all those criticising Rashid it worth remembering that Moeen has hardly been any better. Nothing there for them at all.
Give him a break man, Rashid and Moeen are gonna be the only ones to score centuries for England this series. So how bad has Rashid been? Scorecard suggests pretty terrible.
Had England held their chances and Rashid got to bowl to some new batsmen or lower order batsmen, who knows. So how bad has Rashid been? Scorecard suggests pretty terrible.
Sure but they're going at well over 4 an over. Gotta keep things tight at least. For all those criticising Rashid it worth remembering that Moeen has hardly been any better. Nothing there for them at all.
wouldn't say he's been terrible, imo he's got enough variety and accuracy in his bowling to suggest he'll learn and improve. completely different conditions to england so he has to be given that chance to improve. So how bad has Rashid been? Scorecard suggests pretty terrible.
I've seen enough of Rashid to know he's a decent bowler - what worries me is his confidence - real mistake on the selectors part not to give him a debut in the Caribbeannot the first spinner to debut in these conditions and go 0-100 and he certainly won't be the last. at least wait until you've seen him bowl in the second innings where there'll be sharper turn and more variable bounce before you write him off.
Absolute joke he never played out there.I've seen enough of Rashid to know he's a decent bowler - what worries me is his confidence - real mistake on the selectors part not to give him a debut in the Caribbean
Yeah I'm hoping he can get the same help Mark Wood is getting.Rahat Ali can be pretty gun when the ball starts reversing. Think there's enough there in this pitch that he'll cause some problems.
He does consistently get the rub of the green though - reminds me of Sir Beefy in that respectFor all those criticising Rashid it worth remembering that Moeen has hardly been any better. Nothing there for them at all.
We are of course assuming that what we see and hear is what the 3rd umpire sees and hears. Given that we're not privy to any conversation between the 3rd umpire and the on-field umpire, it's not an unreasonable assumption that the 3rd umpire has access to audio that the TV viewer doesn't.Just saw the highlights and read through the thread, I'm glad we all agree there was no way Misbah's decision should've been overturned.
It is exactly the case that we see and hear what the 3rd umpire sees, no? I'm pretty sure the TV people coordinate the camera angles etc which are given to the 3rd umpire. We are of course assuming that what we see and hear is what the 3rd umpire sees and hears.
