It's like United under Moyes but even funnier
Yeah but Moyes was predictable, he was never good enough.

In his interview he's been honest, by blaming the ref. We'll ignore the pens Saints should have had, Total ****.

Man I thought MOTD would be optional with this set of fixtures, now I can't wait for it.

Weird that we have no Chelsea fans on here. This feels oddly unifying.

Someone link me to this interview. Sounds gold.

Not the best weekend for the teams I like to see do well, but always a nice consolation for Chelsea to lose.

Is it that weird there's no Chelsea fans? Pretty much anyone more than a couple of years older than me would've started supporting their club before the Abramovich era began, so Chelsea would've just been a bog standard premier league club you wouldn't really think to support if not from the area or with family ties with the club.

HERE It's so epic, it started with him just saying he was going to be honest, and that honesty entails that the refs have been against him, despite the two clear PENS not given against Chelsea in the first-half, reasonably normal. Then it's just egomaniac nonsense.

It's a little weird, I agree that they're not an hugely long-term supported club, but we talk up Exeter much more, Shrewsbury, non-league Tranmere, Brentford, scummy Cornish sides, you name it. They all have bigger following then Chelsea here.

I think they had a decent following, I know a lot in everyday life that predate Roman. They were also briefly very likeable in the Zola era.

Yeah there were lots around when I was in school.

As for on here, every other big Premier League club has at least someone.

Dated one once. Still haven't forgiven myself. Though did meet her not long after the 08 CL final, so must've mistaken my genuine smug bastardry for flirting...

This post is the first time I've realised I actually support the worst team out of everyone in this thread, statistically speaking

That's partly because you support your local team and not free loading on a team just because they won everything when you were growing up and never even been to the ground.

Newcastle were genuinely good in the 1st half. Were probably only unlucky to lose as heavily as they did mind.

It's a bit liquorice allsorts though. I mean, there's not more than about 3 or 4 from each of the lower divisions.

You would expect lots of people like me to support Chelsea but in truth there weren't even that many at school. About on a par with Tottenham and less than any of Arsenal, United or Liverpool.

Aye, suppose so. Could have justifiably supported Liverpool though as the son of a scouser who tried his best to get me to follow in his footsteps before accepting I'd made the right decision, one which has caused me a quarter of century of heartache culminating in the worst sporting day of my life last April

Onwards and upwards though. We are starting to hit real form now. My hatred of the play offs makes me really hate that it's just one automatic spot. The standard of this league is appalling and i just hope the points dropped to prank sides when we were struggling to click early on don't wind up costing us.
