i hope for the future of australian cricket that these guys do surprisingly well and we perhaps find a future star or two. realistically though they're going to get an absolute pantsing most games, which isn't good for anyone.

Yeah it seems more and more pointless really. I think I'd even prefer a straight up Australia Under 19s side at this point to his weird leftover scraps thing we've got going.
