Yeah that was by far the best post of the thread. Took it another level entirely after he got dropped too; was one of the better spinners in the Shield at times.

Nah he was crap (at bowling) already when he played that series. It was a ridiculous selection.

White always saw himself as a batsman, but got his first games as a teenager for Victoria as a bowler.

He didn't spin it enough, according to those in the know, so he went through Jenner so that he could bowl "more like Warne".

Well, a lot of the results speak for themselves over the period, you look at a lot of the guys who came through and amounted to nothing, or went backwards when they got involved with high performance programs; where they'd be pushed towards Jenner who made his name on Warne.

The quintessential coach who thinks there is only one way to do things, and if you can't do it that way then you'll never be good enough anyway.

Cricket, Lovely Cricket
Watched Adam Zampa in a few ODIs of the A tour. Was pretty good though raw. His first class record sucks right now but there is a lot of promise there.
