Williamson is a terrible ODI batsman. Plays too many dot balls. Can't thrive in ODIs. I'll be surprised if he averaged 30+.

It's crazy how many dot balls Williamson plays but then a few overs later he's back on song at a strike rate of 80. I reckon he's figured out the way to thrive in ODIs and I wouldn't be surprised if he went on to average 50+.
Considering that he already averages 49, his making it to 50 wouldn't really be that surprising.

Fair point but I was talking about him keeping it at above 50 rather than just getting to 50 and veering off. He's in sublime form right now and it'll get a little complicated when the runs dry up.

I think your talking a bout williamson, and if so i dont have a lot of fear for him running into a wall.. He fully gives the impression of easing into a groove, and I don't actually think Australia has the frightening pace in them to surprise him at the gabba.

Just tuned it, can anyone tell me why Ronchi opened? We tried that experiment before and it failed miserably.

Guptill injured his wrist while fielding. At one stage the word was that we wouldn't bat at all.

Crazy shot Munro, he had the natural advantage being a lefty vs. Tahir and reverse sweeps.
