Just had the thought that it'd be so cool if it does end up Cena vs Taker at WM, with Taker's career on the line. That'd almost be as good as Cena vs Taker for the streak for mine.
Never thought of that tbh. I always thought of the possible Taker retirement match to be vs Sting, but Cena vs Taker absolutely could work.

I think the beauty of that idea is that the result is almost immaterial. Whether Taker lost or not, the fact that Cena was his opponent would have everyone believing that it could happen, and as a result would draw absolutely huge.

This is the absolute number 1 match that as a fan of 20 years or whatever that I really really want to see, probably more than any other. It's one of those matches that, despite being a casual fan for the most part these days, I'd really care about. I don't doubt that Taker v Sting would be cool (probably not a great match though), but for me this is the one they should really really pull the trigger on.

Not sure where that would leave Sting, but I'm sure they could find something for him.

Imagine if the card for WM ended up something like: Lesnar v Austin, Taker vs Cena, HHH vs Rock, Shield triple threat... I'd probably die of excitement.

I guess either is an option really, but I'd be concerned about two things: 1) the possibility that by the time WM 32 comes around Taker isn't capable of passing a WWE medical and being cleared to wrestle, and 2) that by that time Cena is back in the top spot and tied up in some other high profile angle from which he can't really be excused.

Everything just seems to be in place for the match to happen this year, so I really hope it does.

I'm actually more interested in what they have lined up for Survivor Series. Will be 25 years to the day since Undertaker's debut. They have to do something big.

Orton vs Sheamus

Meh.

PTP vs New Day

Like I said before the show, they might as well keep the belts on PTP and they might eventually get over.

Bray vs Roman

Bray had to win one eventually and think this is the right call. Great to see Harper back in the family and hope Rowan comes back to complete the set. Like sledger said, there was no reason for them to split up.

Divas Triple Threat

Not a fan of Charlotte but that might because I wanted Sasha to win. Think she(Sasha) is the total package as far as Divas go.

Cena vs Owens

Great match but where does Owens go next. He's lost his NXT strap and him and Cena again would be overkill. Interesting to see where both guys end up next.

Seth vs Brock

Knew as soon as Brock started those suplexes that there was going to be some shenanigans. Match should have been a bit longer but whatever. Where do these guys go from here?

Disagree. New Day are the best thing in the division right now and should have won the belts back. Though PTP keeping the belts as a face tag team does allow the Wyatts to return and take the belts.

The New Day don't need the belts to stay over. Titus and Darren without the belts have nothing going for them and still aren't over with them, so I'd give them a month or two more to see if they can somehow get people to care. There's basically no risk there.

footage of GIMP's reaction to today's events:

not sure what his best about this
- GIMP deciding to tombstone his teddy bear
- GIMP doing the eye roll pin
- GIMP looking into his coin bag for no reason
- GIMP telling himself not to wake anyone else up

I reckon they're plants. The woman celebrating the Cena win looks like she doesn't have a clue wtf is going on.

Just gone back to watch fan reactions to Lesnar ending the streak (not in the arena, like video camera ones). Some of them are genuinely hilarious. Not the over the top I'm gonna trash my room ones, but just some where the person's face just changes on the 3 count to absolute pure shock. Power of story telling.

My favourite one is of the bloke 3:50 into this video. Everyone in the background screaming reacting to the F5 and he's like "nah calm down ****s he'll kick out.... wait WHAT"
