Tbf the reason this didn't happen last year was probably because Taker was in pretty terrible shape post-WM and spent the entire year getting back into condition. Plus it would have interfered with the whole direction in which they were planning to take Brock.

Also, I think Wyatt winning was definitely the right call. Rather suspect we might get Orton vs Wyatt at Summerslam now. Wouldn't mind seeing that.

I guess. It's just weird timing. Sting has to be involved in the finish at Summerslam to set up a match between those guys. Or, what would be really awesome is if Rock turned up and cost Brock the match setting up Brock vs Rock at WM.

Yeah, Wyatt winning is exactly what he needed, and the loss really doesn't hurt Reigns at this stage imo. And like you say, the Wyatt reunion is long overdue. They should have never been split up in the first place.

Rock costing Lesnar the match would be kind of cool, but him being screwed in exactly the same way two ppvs in a row would be a bit...ergh, I dunno, unsatisfying and samey I guess.

Dont see that at all. Maybe if he won clean. Given how he won, I can't see anything other than Harper/Wyatt v Roman/Dean. Maybe Randy further down the line?

Yeah I can take overlooking that. We know why it didn't happen. It wasn't possible IRL. I can look past that. Slightly annoying but no biggie.

What's the point of a lesnar vs taker rematch anyway? I hope Taker doesn't win, that'd be stupid... Lesnar's just come back and is over as ****. If Lesnar wins, he just.... beats taker again. Yay?

And that's why I don't like a Sting angle. We get screwed out of Brock again. Really, I can't think of a way to get Sting back into this given he's got no history with anyone but the fans. He can answer the US open challenge tomorrow. That'd be amazing. That works perfectly for his return. But then what? How does he get himself into a Summerslam match? Tries to protect the frail, old Undertaker by interfering or something and Taker fights back? Maybe Kane can be the middleman? Authority angle going into Taker angle? I dunno. Messy.

Glad Rollins retained and that he was pretty defiant despite getting crushed.

Owens vs. Cena was a classic, but the STF is a dire submission. Banks Statement looks stronger.

Biggest plus of the night was the Divas IMO. Banks and Charlotte looked great as they usually do, really showed they plan to make some actual changes in the women's division. Poor Brie, was definitely trying hard to look like she belonged but at best she gets a c-.

Sasha Banks is awesome. Was so impressed with her.

If they wanted Cena to win via the STF, they should have kept Owens strong by having him pass out like Austin in the Sharpshooter. Would have made the STF look better too.

Kane is a far better ring operator than Undertaker and has been for almost the last 10 years. Taker looked close to passing out just Tombstoning that second time.

How do you keep Wrestlemania interesting for Taker without the streak? They tried Bray in a "I'm the new monster" feud, and it half worked. Undertaker matches haven't been about putting on a good physical show for a long time, they're just street fights. Kane and Undertaker are both close to retirement, both have a long long backstory that can be easily reignited and neither is going to look bad in the street fight brawl it will no doubt be.

Feed him Kane this year and Triple H the year after and call it a day.

Na it's an aesthetically ugly submission, covers the opponents whole body so they don't get to show how much pain they're in, doesn't clearly show how the other wrestler is in pain.

The only thing that would salvage this for me is Owens getting Cena to tap out in a future match.

Making submissions cool again would be so gun. The NXT girls have got pretty gun ones, Cesaro seems to have a decent pool of them too.

There are just loads of better options for mine. Putting him against Cena for one. Or one of the Shield guys. Taker vs Kane and Taker vs HHH have been done to death. Especially at Wrestlemania.

Just had the thought that it'd be so cool if it does end up Cena vs Taker at WM, with Taker's career on the line. That'd almost be as good as Cena vs Taker for the streak for mine.
