Fair points but, much like India, I feel the bowlers aren't fit enough to have just 4. Maybe on a helpful track they can take regular wickets and won't be bowled into the ground,
It's a vicious circle

Not good enough to bowl opposition out ---> Bowled to the ground ---> Fitness nosedives ---> Not good enough to bowl opposition out

Mustafizur definitely bowls left-arm seam. My analysis is not the best but I have noticed this.
It's a bit of a running joke now that he's just yet another bangladeshi left arm spinner because of all the cutters he bowls

Jubair should come good when he gathers a bit more experience. Soon I think we will regularly see the bowling attack featuring Mustafiz, Taskin, AlAmin, Shakib and Jubair. Its an upgrade on what we have fielded in past.

The biggest issue with this is that the tail would be a number ten and then three number elevens, unless one of those guys has hidden batting talent I'm not aware of. It's a really big step down in lower order vitality from the status quo of a batsman at eight and then a spinner who is useful with the bat like Taijul or Sohag at nine, which could be a big problem with Mushfiqur batting so low for workload reasons.

True this will be a long tail but there is no one atm who is knocking as a good enough bowler and hold the bat. I wish Hom could bowl because he is a decent batsman for no. 8. Only player that comes to my mind who can truly fit no. 8 is Abul. He needs to raise the bar in bowling significantly.

I figure by the time the likes of Mustafizur/Al Amin/Taskin become good enough for Tests, we would have a functional top 7 as well. Gazi, Taijul and Sunny can all bat. In order for Jubair to break into the XI we would probably have to go with 2 quicks 2 spinners and Shakib.

Despite our tepid showing in the ODIs I think we should still take the Tests.

Reeza Hendricks will probably debut - not sure he's Test quality thought to be honest.

Don't think there'll be too many surprises in the Test XI for SA.

Side will probably be:

elagr
Hendricks
Du Plessis
Amla
Duminy
Van Zyl
Bavuma
Harmer
Philander
Steyn
Morkel

Think Rabada may possibly get a go before Philander.
