The logic would have centred on what he offered with the ball but you have to wonder about even that considering he barely bowled in the first dig on a pitch he, prima facie, was perfect for.

Bowling/experience I think. Which is kinda useless if he only bowls 8 overs, but then again our bowling was pretty poor 1st innings....
