2010/11The odds of anyone other than Warne and McGrath for the last two spots have to be a million to one. I must say batting Warne at number 10 is a harsh criticism of his batting though, he averaged 22 with the bat in Ashes tests, and almost 25 in series Ponting played in, with 4 50s. Also in 2005 when England had the best bowling of any Ashes series Ponting played in, Warne scored more runs than Katich, Martyn and Gilchrist, who played every test. On the other hand Gillespie's highest score vs England was 31.
On the one hand 2010-11 had Swann, but on the other hand 05 had four top class seamers. I dunno.2010/11
Might be better yeah. I think 2005 shades it personally due to Simon Jones but it's close. Also different conditions I guess so it's tough to compare. Either way Warne didn't play in that series.2010/11
