I am getting a bit tired of the formula for the matches themselves though. Cesaro vs Cena the other night was gun, but once again it was a kick-out-of-the-big-moves-fest, followed by a springboard stunner (really wish they'd stop with that), followed by a final AA/non-finish, end.

Kinda simplifying it though, aren't you?

I love the Open challenge, but Cena's obviously burning through opponents to fight now, and the last thing you need is him vs neville or Cesaro every other week diluting the awesomeness.

Yeah, I guess. The formula will always be a bit linear for TV matches, but the kick out of the finishers thing is just waaaay too over-done imo.

As for opponents, yeah, I see your point. But there are still a fair few options they could go to in order to keep it fresh. All of the New Day for instance, some NXT guys, some other part-timers like RVD if they can get them etc... and between those times they could always do angles in which the match never starts because someone takes Cena out when he is coming down the ramp or something.

Saw the beast in the east show and wow, that was awesome. The announcers acknowledging Jericho and Balor's work in Japan, the absence of the ******* camera zooms and slow motion replays for every decent move, etc... More of this please in the actual RAWs and PPVs goddammit.

Sounds pretty awful. Just hope Joe doesn't get buried because of it. Was a freak accident, he's used the Muscle Buster for years without injuring anyone, so it's a shame this has happened. Hopefully Tyson makes a full and healthy recovery, though I think his days in the ring could be over.

Pretty cool. Cena's an awesome dude. I know I slated Cesaro in this thread a little while ago, but I would love it if he worked out a way to get over. He's one of the best in-ring performers in the world, and just needs a run of decent booking and a character that's going to get him over. Fingers crossed the two awesome performances in the last 2 weeks will be the catalyst to get him over in a big way.
