Can UK viewers confirm the bloke commentating the Cilic-Isner match is Mark Nicholas?
I didn't see the match. But if there was an extremely annoying, clueless commentator who made you want to turn the sound down it would have to be Mark Petchey. Absolutely the worst commentator/summarizer on any sport in history.

iirc a few years ago Tomic very quickly went from being one of the most promising stars in the country to pretty much a laughing stock with such types of comments. DOn't expect much from him tbh unless he changes his attitude and focuses on improving his game.

Btw happy to see Kyrgios win. And lol at Heather Watson => fail/10

Isner-Cilic....not surprised.

at their best, kyrgios is the better player so not much of an upset here...just seeing how dustin brown was able to flummox nadal with his serve and volley game, it is ridiculous that federer still hasn't figured out that attacking tennis is his best option against nadal...
disagree with this.

No one comes back from the death like Serena. Just does it every grand slam. So much mental toughness and belief

disagree with this.
has he been more attacking in his matches with nadal? people like mcenroe has been espousing a more aggressive serve and volley tactic for federer against nadal for years now, i haven't seen it...he has the game and the talent to pull it off but he just goes into a shell against nadal and gets whupped again and again...

He won't have to worry if Nadal keeps bowing out early to nuffies every grand slam.

What a weird match the Murray one has been.

Guess a nation will have to wait till Monday to see if the shoulder was a real problem or just a minor blip.

Pommie tennis commentators make the channel nine cricket coverage seem objective.
Don't know if I'm bias, but I've always thought the Sky cricket commentators have done a much better job on that front then tennis and football ones, particularly free to air ones. Sky's tennis team do a decent job tbf, but BBC are pretty major cheerleaders.

Moving the Monfils v Simon match to Centre Court for the final set is a complete farce. Absolutely no reason why they can't finish on Court 1 on Monday and have one 4th Round match delayed until Tuesday. This is not what the roof is for.

Loved watching Federer's match today. He has been serving so deep and placing the balls as well. Makes it quite difficult to break him, as is evident from him

A) Not being broken even once this tournament yet,
B) Being broken only once in 89 games till the final last year.

The opponent did come close a few times in the end when there were a few more second serves but I wouldn't read too much into that.
