How bad are Sunderland.
How bad are Sunderland.
Reminder that some people thought Gus Poyet should've been manager of the season last year for getting them to 17th.Haha, 8th highest wage bill in the league. Grim.
What a dire squad they have managed to end up with as well. Wonder what sort of money players like Brown and O'Shea are on.Haha, 8th highest wage bill in the league. Grim.
Never agreed with Scaly 100% that experience is a myth but I definitely think it's awful policy for rubbish clubs to buy old players like those and Ferdinand. They demand much higher wages than someone in the early 20s and have no prospect of actually getting better. What a dire squad they have managed to end up with as well. Wonder what sort of money players like Brown and O'Shea are on.
To each their own I guess. Prefer the structure of The Game, 2 or 3 in depth discussions about important games, a debate about an interesting topic a bit outside the box, then some quick hits. No 15 minutes of Glendenning telling us about how hammered he got on the weekend or about him and Max Rushden doing something very funny.Always found the Game kind of dull, nothing really wrong with it but I just forget it exists.
Really doesn't seem to be a person cut out to work in high pressure situations. Strikes me as the kind of person I would absolutely hate to have anything to do with.Nigel Pearson is kind of weird.
Ah, I'd never heard of so-called "bubble matches" before. Lame.
No Jonathan Wilson?Yeah, those two and Michael Cox would be my ideal panel. With Sid on the phone.
Didn't pick that article for the legal stance FTR, just the first I found that explained what they wereAh, I'd never heard of so-called "bubble matches" before. Lame.
However, whilst this is pretty dire, there's nothing obviously unlawful about such measures. The article is obviously written by someone who has no knowledge of human rights law.
Ah fair enough.Didn't pick that article for the legal stance FTR, just the first I found that explained what they were
Why on earth is it legal to treat people this way would be my question? Appalling.
i know one of them actually got a pay rise to take that move, and he was already on about £50k a week at Utd. Suppose Sunderland need to splash out to attract people to that **** holeWhat a dire squad they have managed to end up with as well. Wonder what sort of money players like Brown and O'Shea are on.
