How good wad Grant Elliot today and the whole tournament ? He performed most ODIs he played in. Beggars belief he was left out of the side for all of 2014 in place of an untried Jimmy Neesham. This is his last world cup at 36 and it would have been great for him to get over the line . I hope he gets to tour England.

Still thought NZ should have bowled first . I thought that all week and I still say it now. NZ performed better chasing in the big games.

Also Aus is a good side but they cant win with grace or dignity. Their silly sledging today was appalling. NZ displayed their attitude with aplomb .

Looks like Watson has always wanted to kill Clarke. From day one. With that hairstyle on Clarke, I don't blame Watson
Please tell me Clarke's head has been photoshopped in some fashion.

The sides don't even look like they've been done properly.

Congratulations to New Zealand on their amazing run to the final, a very unfortunate result today but such is sport you can't really fault Bazza for wanting his team to play the way that took them to the final.

Well, that did not take long.

Hardly the time nor place. You're better than that to end it with a smear.

Nah, I'll say it as an Australian supporter that Rad Haddin was in full wanker mode today.
Not saying he wasn't/isn't, just think we should be paying our respects at this time. They've just won the thing a couple of hours ago.

The boos as N Srinivasan was introduced at the presentation making way for huge cheers for Sachin made my day, his little wave after seeing Srinivasan's pissed off bloated mug was great too

Well then you need to get some better attitude and aplomb because what you have is not going to help you win any matches.

Happy for Pup, endured unnecessary criticism leading up to the event.

Will he play, wont he play. Australia are better without him etc. ... Glad he was ale to squash all that
