It's weird because the close ones we've had (NZ vs SA, NZ vs Aus in the group, Afg vs Scotland) were all absolutely exceptional. Otherwise it's been one sided trash.

I guess the influence of T20 has contributed to this. Tactics are to set yourself up for a blast at the end. It's much higher risk so if you pull it off you win easily when your opponent fails vs the old method of consistent 6-8 an over with lower risks.
