And they called it Duffy loveYour Duffy love may get rewarded even further in the coming months ...
He got his leading arm higher back when he was 17.
hmmmI can report first-hand that he bowled pretty well yesterday. Had stints from both ends and troubled the batsmen right through to the end of the day. Wagner again bowled too short, and threw in his 2-3 customary dives onto the pitch after bowling.

The odds are that these guys won't actually be playing for their frontline sides, and so will probably be released early. But even if they aren't, New Zealand aren't going to fly over guys who have zero chance of making the final 11 just because they want a full team for the warm-ups. If it comes to that they'll just get some local ring-ins to fill out the team. Also there is the fact that in the pre-test tour games NZ will be IPL-less.
So remove Southee, Boult, Mitch, Henry, Neesham.
NZ's squad for the tour games should be a mix of A players, non-IPL test players, and ODI specialists turning up for work 3 weeks early.
So you need at least 4 seamers for coverage in those tour games you've got Bracewell, Wagner, + 2 out of Mills, Milne, Bennett, Duffy.
If Mills retires or is shuffled on, if Milne is injured, then Duffy is nailed on.
The tour squad is going to number about 25ish to maybe 30 players, but not all at the same time.
If NZC turn down the chance for a mini A-tour at no extra cost then they are mad.The odds are that these guys won't actually be playing for their frontline sides, and so will probably be released early. Immenso has the right idea. Also there is the fact that in the pre-test tour games NZ will be IPL-less.

Bahnz doesn't.The odds are that these guys won't actually be playing for their frontline sides, and so will probably be released early. Immenso, it's a yes from me.If NZC turn down the chance for a mini A-tour at no extra cost then they are mad.
He's a batsman really. Bowls offies too but his future is as a bat. My sources in Dunedin tell me he's not exactly looked the goods at FC level. I think there may be a touch of dissent amongst the cricket fraternity that a kid has been rushed straight in there on the back of not a whole lot and ahead of guys who've scored a lot more runs in recent years.Nice to see Badenhorst pop up again, even if he's changed provinces. Bennett is back too and taking wickets. Good times.
What is a Josh Finnie? Someone mentioned in this thread or another thread that he had big wraps on him down in Otago. Spin bowling allrounder I'm guessing? Batting allrounder or bowling allrounder?
