Tahir strikes me as being not-dissimilar to Brad Hogg -- a far bigger threat in ODI cricket because his wrong'un is hard to read. Would be interesting to know if, like Hogg, it's far easier to read Tahir's wrong'un with a red ball compared to the white.

Yeah Parnell at 3 would've been a funky but interesting idea if he'd actually add anything to the bowling attack. I actually think he'd make the attack worse though and he's sure as hell not good enough to play as a specialist batsman.

Yeah his ODI record is ridiculously good. Lots of people thought he'd come unstuck in these conditions but he's been good in the WC too. Feel free to hate on him in Tests though.
