Nah, Wahab was something else yesterday. This would be better if they hadn't lost 4 already. It's fun but the game's pretty much done as a true contest.
Yeah I kinda phrased my thoughts poorly. What I meant was as a match this was the most entertaining, chiefly due to Guppy's sensational knock, top fielding from NZ, awesome bowling and Gayle's knock. Very fun viewing regardless of the fact that this match will probably not be close at all.

Wahab's spell was just from another world. It possessed the intensity and fire I've never watched from any bowler in an ODI before and I think everyone who watched that spell won't forget it for a long while...but as a match, Aus vs Pak wasn't as entertaining as this. Had Watson's catch been taken, the match would have been way more tighter. Apart from Wahab's first spell, you always kinda knew that Australia would win. Just my thoughts on it.

You wanna bowl short to Chris Gayle you gotta crank it quicker. Milne is disappointing averaging 141kph. He needs to bowl far quicker deliveries.

Yeah fair thoughts.

Boult at 19, Starc at 18, Shami at 17, Wahab at 16.

For all the **** that this WC has copped, we've seen more awesomely entertaining pace bowling in this WC than any WC since 99.
Which is what I've been saying. Good bowlers are still good bowlers but the modern game severely punishes anyone who is just mediocre.

Anwar would have never imagined his score would be the 7th best score in ODIs in just 18 years.

I think that this hit out today by Guptill was more of his brilliance than anything else but all of the "anything else" is major and an issue for many knocks regardless.

1 really really really really good knock without edges for six doesn't mean big bats, small fields and restrictions aren't an issue. 1 really really really really scrappy knock with edges for six, poor technique and scoring just because of a lack of fielders stationed near boundaries doesn't mean that all big scores are from big bats and edges
Well said

I actually know him on a deep personal level and can confirm this is completely the opposite of the truth
