See, I'm more comfortable with Clarke over bailey because he knows how to play spin, which bailey seems to have forgot how to do recently.

A wicket now would probably save a good 20-30 runs from the total cos the hitters would be forced to play defensive for a bit.

Prasana fielding n bowling well..just needs to turn on his brain when he bats and will have done well.

Doing the same thing I'd have expected Herath to do, been impressed

Imagine if it was Ajantha Mendis playing lol
You think Ajantha would not do well in this slow pitch? I think his variations would be effective here. Just because Finch went brainless doesn't mean this is some great performance.

Can't believe I'm saying this but Thisara has bowled well so far.. I just hope they don't make him bowl in the last 10 cos of that.
Isn't this the exact opposite of what you used to say about Mathews -- "he only conceded 3.5rpo in his first spell, so he should bowl out at the end ahead of Bowler X"?

lol indeed. Would be getting belted IMO. The deck's dry and turning a bit, but I think the commentators are seriously overplaying the 'SL-ness' of the track; still looks pretty good for batting to me.

No - I never said Angelo should bowl in the death overs. Just that he should bowl more than 6 overs. Thisara bowling well in the early overs is a new thing - he usually gives runs away throughout and is just worse at the death.

Big boots to fill tho ( no pun intended) ..Have to agree

- sorry to put down ur 'boi' Viriya, but he would just become a slow medium and turn to cannon fodder on this deck..

It's why we have regulations that make 300+ easy. Short attention spans.

Clarke and smith moving to the spin is great to watch.

SL seem not to be able to stop run-a-ball now.. this could get ugly quickly if they don't get a quick couple.

22 off 14 balls and 29 years old for seven years?lol
Actually now that i look at Afridi he looks his age. (plus minus 2 years of course with pak players). It was actually in the beginning 10 years of his career that he looked at least 5 to 6 years older than his age.

but i agree with the 22 off 14 :p
