Seems to me that Afghanistan have spent too much time watching that ANZ "dream big" ad. They had a good chance to set a testing total on the order of 270/280 here, but by thinking that 300 is par they're now going to struggle to get to 250.

Yeah, it's all falling apart now, might be lucky to get 230 from here.

Yea he should bowl out before the 40th. SL should experiment with slower bowlers in the last 10 imo.. Especially with teams that like pace on the ball like WI.

Asghar Stanikzai coudn't hit a ball off the square two years back. He always had the defensive technique. The way now he plays is amazing. Bit more exposure, and we are will be seeing a star. He's still 28, and in few years I predict him to be one of the best associate batsman post 1990. May be Pakistan may do a an England and they will have a very good defensive batsman who could play long innings.

Not sure why Jeevan bowls just 3 overs and Thisara bowls the full quota.. Angelo with 6 overs again unsurprisingly.

Thought the SL bowlers were just okay. Primarily a case of poor shot selection by the Afghans.

When has Thisara ever really been "firing" with the ball? I can understand his batting but his bowling was never good enough for a full quota over Angelo..
