It's just a ridiculous statement. Even if Dyche's statement is true, which imo it absolutely isn't, it totally ignores all of the other non-footballing/unseen factors that would contribute to a player's development. It is just shockingly narrow-minded.

Look in pre season 2004 two la Liga sides came to Prenton park and neither of them scored. So la Liga must be turd

Celta proving that there are some pretty decent mid-table La Liga sides.

There are some poor sides as well of course but there are a fair few of them in the Premier League.

Yeah, it's like the Villa job. Just loads of expectation with no prospect of them ever going anywhere other than down. Being involved in a relegation scrap/relegated is probably as good as it gets for fans of a team like that.
