*Official* English Football Season 2014-15

It'll be TV money that is distributed by position on an even scale + extra for the games that are shown live. Hence someone like Utd might get a bit more than expected, someone boring like Sunderland less.

Yeah, that's why I find it bizarre how anyone can actually dislike Atletico Madrid. Them winning the league and trouncing Real on the weekend is so, so good simply because so much is against them.
Because being financially disadvantaged relative to Real Madrid is not the reason that some people dislike them.

Yeah but it's too similar to the table to just be that, and also surely Man U would be higher as I'm pretty sure all their games are televised, even the reserves.
Prize money per position, plus there's some sort of fee every time you're featured on TV.

edit: found it.

Every team in the Premier League gets £55m from TV rights. 20th place then get an additional £1.2m in prize money, and this prize money increases by £1.2m per position (eg. Cardiff got £1.2m, Fulham got £2.4m right the way up to Man City who got £24m in prize money.) Each team also gets £750k every time they're featured on TV.

Not the first time you've done that this season but I was delighted to see it happen tonight

Prem looking interesting in terms of the 'Battle for 4th'.
Yeah, thought of you and your lot when the winner went in tonight.

Prem looks great, race for 3rd and 4th really.

Harry Kane made Sakho look really village when taking his goal this eve. His footwork was just too good for him, completely beat him all ends up. Liverpool's defending on the whole wasn't especially clever actually.

Pretty sure now that Colchester aren't going to escape relegation this season. Seems some kind of inevitability to the drop, no matter how many loan signings are brought in.

This is what football being **** feels like, had started to forget.

Time for some perspective and all that I suppose.

Thoughts on Emre Can? Impressive last night imo. Also Sturridge makes a huge difference to how teams defend against Liverpool.

Can's been our best player for a while now. Gonna be a beast, reminds me of Yaya.

Yeah Can's been impressive since Rodgers moved him to the back three. I've heard Sakho's improved too but he still looked dodgy as **** last night.
