I never said he should be dropped. I was suggesting that other players would not get the same leeway he's getting now. Just that Indian selectors play favorites or are stubborn when they decide a player is a certain way. They have the luxury of doing that generally because there's so much batting talent in India - a smaller country would love to be able to toy with that much talent.I dont think anyone is saying that Rohit being kept out of the Test XI so long or Pujara not getting a decent ODI run was a good decision. So why you are arguing that is beyond me.
Its like you are saying "rohit and pujara were treated poorly so Rahane should be treated poorly too!". Which is an utterly ridiculous argument.
Yeah was going to say this. It was still out anyway though.Aakash Chopra @cricketaakash 59s59 seconds ago
LED stumps are misleading...they light up the moment the ball hits but a batsman is given out only if the bails are out of the groove.
Yeah, the bails light up too early IMO.
I think he was just making a general point. The bails did come off before the bat crossed the line, so I don't know why he's tweeting this now.
Yeah, should have either gone with the original order or promoted Dhoni. Raina is weird.Raina? why?
left right combo, also Raina's power game is better than Rahane's, surely a set Raina is more valuable than a set Rahane in limited overs?Yeah, should have either gone with the original order or promoted Dhoni. Raina is weird.
