In Sri Lanka they're attack would be totally different, he'd have 30+ overs of spin at his disposal. Didn't even get 15 here. I think he should have taken Malinga off sooner in his first spell though and brought on a spinner much sooner. Mendis getting 2 overs is criminal.

It's not just this game though, I thought he was poor earlier this summer, especially in the tests. Obvs he doesn't have the best weapons in NZ conditions but to me he just seems somewhat to resemble the way Dhoni went about things.

Had even less to draw on for most of this summer. Definitely not a better captain than probably either of his teammates. Shows on the field too.

I do. It depends completely on situation. Pakistan's spinners were rubbish, the ground was small and it would have been suicide.

Herath could have definitely bowled his last in overs 40-46. Even Dilshan could have bowled one or two.

They have speedo, it was on the SL innings. Yeah and the commentators see the speed. It's just the display not giving it to us.
