I guess the line of thought isPeople smoke everywhere, that argument doesn't hold weight imo.
It's not even that as much as:He's a footballer > he smokes > kid thinks it's okay to start smoking because he could still become a footballer
Reckon the Wenger stubborness has already put paid to that possibility tbh - clearly still rates him and is determined for him to be good, damn everyone else.I think you should probably be trying to sell him. He's nowhere near as good as his reputation suggests anyway, so better get rid of him before other clubs realise.
I will never understand why he wasn't punted in summer and Cesc signed instead.I think you should probably be trying to sell him. He's nowhere near as good as his reputation suggests anyway, so better get rid of him before other clubs realise.
Anyone who watched Arsenal or simply looked at the team sheets could see the simple fact that for Wilshere to get into the side Özil, Ramsey and Cazorla were being compromised to an extent. Ramsey doesn't work as well with Wilshere as he does with Özil or Cazorla, the former having to play wide, instead of centrally, and the latter being on the bench. Wilshere isn't as good as any of those three, so it isn't that much of a surprise the team suffered. Of course he's not a bad player at all, but he's also not good enough to be the heartbeat of our side.Reckon Wilshere is fast becoming the new Gerrard on here, he's really not that bad.
The fact is he's got injured, but many more key players have got fit, so these win-loss comparisons are pretty ****e, and the 5 zillionth reason why stats have no place in football.
Hard to argue for him though, as he's clearly a bit of an herbert. He's still one of the more technically proficient English footballers I've seen in 20 years. Mind you that isn't saying much.
I'm gonna have to start rating him I don't like being part of the footy thread normReckon Wilshere is fast becoming the new Gerrard on here, he's really not that bad.

But earlier this year ramsey and Ozil weren't fit, so he wasn't keeping them out. You are doing better now everyone is fit including Giroud and others who have come back from injury.Anyone who watched Arsenal or simply looked at the team sheets could see the simple fact that for Wilshere to get into the side Özil, Ramsey and Cazorla were being compromised to an extent. It's the hipstery hating of most English players here and elsewhere, it happens to most of them.I'm gonna have to start rating him I don't like being part of the footy thread norm
Tbh I've not watched him play since the FA cup final
