What are you all talking about, he's a great manager, look at how far Pompey have fallen since he left them. Nothing to do with him blowing a small country's GDP to fund that FA Cup win. And hey, QPR's budget last season was only slightly better than Atletico's and he still managed to drag them up through the play offs.

I find the Fellaini hate really bizarre. Before he arrived we supposedly desperately needed some physicality, now when he plays and it's effective the team is criticised for not being stylish enough. Must just be that when you have a big fanbase there'll always be a decent chunk of people spouting stupid **** at any given time.

IIRC the fee was more than his stipulated release clause or reported as being so.
Add in a slow start, a perception he was the new hack (comparitively speaking) manager's pet...

Proud to say I've been on the 'Leave Fellaini Alone' bandwagon from the start. He's been far better this season, and has been a threat in and around the box (considering we're unable to pass the ball into dangerous area's, this is hugely underrated, as Uppercut says, were not stylish enough with him, but we lack the ability to be styish anyway ATM)
No surprise he was key in the 1st two goals last night (I was at the bar for the 3rd so didn't see it properly)

Yeah definitely. He's not a difficult player to hate, his short passing is barely league two standard. But there are things he's very good at too, and right now the team looks much better when he plays.
