My god, I hope this sort of mentality does not pervade the future of cricket. There should be a bit of a contest, but seeing 220 vs 200 really does devalue ODI Cricket, if I wanted to watch the ball beating the bat I would watch 5 day Cricket.

Why don't you make like a tree and get out of here? It's called a leave.
You don't want him watching 5 day cricket? My god, I hope this sort of mentality does not pervade the future of cricket.
On the contrary, I do. Scares me that ball beating bat may be 2030's version of a drop goal in rugby, or a back pass in soccer/football.You don't want him watching 5 day cricket?
Dear God.There should be a bit of a contest, but seeing 220 vs 200 really does devalue ODI Cricket, if I wanted to watch the ball beating the bat I would watch 5 day Cricket.
220 vs 200 sounds good after it happens but few people will actually be there to witness it. Many will lose interest after 220 is scored in first innings. Score of 250-280 in first innings will make me want to watch the second innings. It's funny, because 220 vs 200 is basically my idea of a perfect ODI
But they're resting Bhuvi, a guy who's barely plated am cricket in the last few months. He needs gameHalf the World Cup are warm up games. I don't mind this. Try out different ****s. Make sure the others are not getting injured in meaningless games.
Completely taking the piss with this "salmon area" thing now. It even says "salmon" instead of "good" on the graphical pitch map now
