***Official*** India and England in Australia ODI Tri-Series 2015

There should be a bit of a contest, but seeing 220 vs 200 really does devalue ODI Cricket, if I wanted to watch the ball beating the bat I would watch 5 day Cricket.
My god, I hope this sort of mentality does not pervade the future of cricket.

I'd like to have in ODI very little "leave the ball" from batsman* call for it though beating the bat could be a good strategy by bowlers.

* Though understandable if early wickets left the team in disarray and is playing to put up a respectable score.

I'd love to watch a match with old style WACA pace and bounce. As long as it's consistent then it good to watch. Something there for good bowlers and batters.

250 v 250 IMO because if the defending team doesn't get off to a good start then a 200-220 chase generally becomes the most boring sight in all of cricket (if there are early or regular wickets, though, it can be hell fun)

Yeah I think the best and most absording ODIs are ones where the team batting first sets 250-270 and the chase ebbs and flows. 250 has probably become too an easy a chase in the modern game so I'd probably stretch that out closer to the 270 mark now.

It's funny, because 220 vs 200 is basically my idea of a perfect ODI
220 vs 200 sounds good after it happens but few people will actually be there to witness it. Many will lose interest after 220 is scored in first innings. Score of 250-280 in first innings will make me want to watch the second innings.

I don't understand some of these moves at all, first off how is Ishant not fit and he was fit for last game (though he didn't bowl). Secondly why are we not playing Bhuvi? He's barely played and needs games under his belt.

Half the World Cup are warm up games. I don't mind this. Try out different ****s. Make sure the others are not getting injured in meaningless games.

Completely taking the piss with this "salmon area" thing now. It even says "salmon" instead of "good" on the graphical pitch map now

But they're resting Bhuvi, a guy who's barely plated am cricket in the last few months. He needs game
time before the WC.
