These two have to go deep because Southee, McC and Boult is pretty much our weakest possible tail.

The tail looks a bit weaker with Boult & Mitch than it is with Milne & Henry, even though Boulty does have a good eye.

I really rate Milne's batting from the little bit I've seen.

Very mixed bowling performance from Lanka this. Kula and Perera very good, Lakmal inconsistent and the rest below average. And yet they could well restrict NZ to a below-par score.

Can't afford for either of these guys getting out. Looks like the pitch has leveled off and I'm not sure if we'l get as much assistance as SL did early on. Only a big score will be competitive.

Kula and Pererra were good because they got assistance from the pitch early on. It's evened off now and the rest of the bowlers are copping some stick. Pity Taylor couldn't hang around, he could have hit himself some form.
