A suggestion for Corey Anderson to opening. Now I've heard everything.

Seriously virya, I know you like your spreadsheets, but that suggestion is beyond self-parody.

Yeah but Latham is even more rubbish than Guppers.
Well you have to pick one of them, and if you want someone to rotate the strike in an opening partnership it's not Guptill.

McCullum said before the series that the openers have to fire from both ends. That's why Guptill is staying there - he's meant to be the aggressive option. He's just not though.

Nothing about spreadsheets.. I've only seen Anderson during his fastest 100 highlights.. Why is everyone assuming I have some Excel spreadsheet lying around somewhere.. that's so 1997 yo.

He's pretty rubbish against anything above 135kph.

What a difference having Guptill back in a bit of form made. If he was 8 from 27 the game would have been all but lost. Elliott showing why he's in the squad here, a cake man through and through.

Well you specifically said that he had a surprisingly good record as part of your justification, so...

Kippax to post the Corey J vs. swinging pace 'highlights' video, IMO.

If he top scores, blood will be spilled.
Can't bold the "blood will be spilled" line as I am on the train, however reminds me of Aragorn in the two towers "look a red sky blood has been spilled this past night". I have watched the two towers the most out of the three of them.

I was just wondering if he could do what Sana did in 96..

Just have a swing and see what happens. If he pulls it off for 10-15 overs it'd be close to game over.

Where did this idea Latham can rotate the strike in ODIs come from because it's not true.
Come on man. Use your eyes and look at the array of different strokes and soft handedness Latham possesses. I'm not going to post stats or even reference a single innings because it's bleedingly obvious.

All I've seen is an impressive inability to turn the strike over despite having these attributes.
