The worst thing about Warne as a commentator is that he thinks he's funny and clever. If he was just a but unsure of himself and didn't have anything worthwhile to say it would be much easier to take, but he actually thinks his drivel is entertaining. And presumably some producer somewhere agrees, which is inexplicable. Clarke the only one who is actually trying to discuss cricket.

Just got home and it's -24 outside so in hoping for some entertainment. Except these 2 are still batting and someone shot the pitch.

If India is going to score then Kohli and Rahane please.

Nah this is good bowling. If it becomes truly silly with mistimed half-volleys not getting off the square or it being ludicrously easy to bat then yeah but this is legitimately quality bowling

Warnes commentary goes from being decent and occasionally insightful with guys like Chappell and Bill to utter garbage with his contemporaries. So is it him or them? He always seems much better on Sky so maybe it's what happens when he is around people he played a lot with.
