Hope Rohit, Kohli and Rahane all get hundreds today. That's a possibility unless Lyon's deliveries start taking some turn on day 3.

Indian fans have every right to be disappointed with how their quick bowlers have performed in this series at times

IMO, they would be absolutely slaughtered if they bowled the same lines & lengths on the featherbeds in their own country

I see immense potential and a significant amount of improvement in the batting. Kohli, Rahane, Vijay are all way better now than they were a year and a half ago.

The bowling though.... Yeah. It's as pathetic as it can get. Apart from Ashwin, who's improved from utter donkey **** to an unthreatening but tight bowler, I see no reason to be even slightly happy or optimistic.
It would help ashwin a lot if India can catch.

I think the Indian batsmen have their best chance to score some runs in Australian conditions because Johnson isn't around. Starc isn't anywhere near the threat that Johnson is and I don't think he should be in the team. It is very unlikely there will be a result in this game but it provides the Indian batsmen with an opportunity to get some invaluable time at the crease.

yes, time at the crease is something the indian batsmen have really lacked in this series, it's been their major failing

Warne is trying way too hard to shove buzzwords down the audience's throats this summer.

Sitting in the pavilion watching some cricket. Riveting stuff so I pull out my phone and start posting on CW.

Dont mind this bit of light hearted banter in the box right now...CW snobs to complain
There's no banter, just Warne trying to shove his "Watoosie" buzzword into every sentence, Slater attempting to be funny and Clarke trying his hardest to be the only one giving useful commentary

The first spell from Lyon will be interesting. The pace bowlers have been hitting the right lines and keeping it tight. Lyon will present an opportunity for runs and wickets.
