Berahino to Liverpool for £23m doing the rounds. I'd be surprised if it doesn't happen at some stage.

Also looks like Oldham are signing Ched Evans. The thought of him playing football still makes me feel a little ill.

Oldham have form (if you'll pardon the pun) for this kinda thing. Didn't they give Lee Hughes his first deal after his release from gaol following his death by dangerous driving sentence?

Yeah, I was thinking about that incident myself earlier. The thought of Evans playing again fills me with a sense of disquiet, but if Oldham want to make this sort of transaction with him then it's up to them as far as I'm concerned.

Wtf Cabi?

I get the disquiet with Evans playing again but it's not like there isn't precedent, a guy who killed two kids who is a club captain of Argyle so it's not like teams haven't looked past the committal of hideous crimes in the past.

Their free flowing football and chances created to goals scored ratio makes them a joy to watch. They only pay their attackers more than any other side in the world and they were still able to register five shots on target against Yeovil, you've got to give them credit. Especially after all the fans complained about the style under Moyes, it's nice to see that it wasn't actually just the results that were pissing them off.

Arsenal and Hull phoning it in this eve. A very tedpid watch. Good to see a bit more of Joel Campbell and Bellerin though.

Thought it was good first half tbf.

Walcott's touches were seriously rusty but he showed some good movement. Hopefully we'll see it being converted into goals and assists in the next month or so.

No to scrapping replays. No to not playing the games on Saturdays. Both would be huge revenue killers for lower league clubs.
If two clubs in different divisions draw each other then the team in the lower division plays at home.

Would make no difference under the current FA Cup gate receipts. In fact it would likely make a detrimental one.
