Also our game is live on TV in stacks of places today so clearly y'all need to stream it. It's not like you have anything better to do.
It's live on TV in HD in India tonight. Who should I look out for?

Max Power, number 4. Being watched by some fairly big clubs at the minute.

The rest of our side are fairly standard lower league players (Koumas is injured) but will be interested in your opinions tbf.

Oh and Chris Shuker has recently come out of retirement. Those of you who were posting in this thread around 06-08 may remember I had quite the mancrush on him. He's quality.

I kinda respect what Pearson said about the cup.

A lot of other managers (Monk especially) were bending over backwards in their pressers to emphasise the magic of ver cup when one's quite aware they'll be sticking out at best a combo of regulars and the stiffs, whereas Big Nige said the league was his priority.

It's a pity the cup has been reduced to a sideshow/distraction, but it's nice not to have one's intelligence insulted for once.

Hope we put out a strong side today, starting from the 3rd round really does make a good run very achievable.

Thoughts on Pardew for yer Beagles, david?

He's an arsehole, but he's our arsehole kinda feeling amongst the faithful?

@GIMH

Sorry!
Haha it's okay. Palios said in his programme notes - last time we played in the FA Cup you guys were a division below us and underdogs and we have to take you as inspiration for what's possible to achieve with the right management

I don't think the score line reflected the overall play but it did reflect the quality of your forwards versus our defence. I believe we actually had the same number of shots.

Not convinced the first goal should have stood (handball) and we should have had a pen (also handball) but no complaints really. The effort was there, we kept trying to press forwards long after the game was gone. A good crowd so plenty of funds into Micky's pocket hopefully and onwards we go now, get clear of safety and push on next season.

I think so. I'm biased because of his winning goal in the 1990 semifinal, so I'll probably show him more grace than his predecessor.
I don't think he's great, but I think he is at least aware that things have moved on since the late 1980's.
Hopefully he'll have learned from his unfortunate spat with the Hull City player.
And it'll be interesting to see how he gets on without being to import half a dozen French players to raise the standard of the side.

But I think the main thing will be regaining the dressing room, as Warnock seemed hell bent on losing them.

And finding some kind of goal scorer in January would be nice. That being said, being Palace, we'll probably lose Jedinak and Bolassie by the end of the month.
