The angle did it IMO, it left him off the pitch a tad but he played because of the angleNot sure it was the bounce on that particular occasion though, it was just a 'nothing' shot.
Yeah it was a good ploy by Lakmal, we praise Southee for it all the time. The angle did it IMO, it left him off the pitch a tad but he played because of the angle
The angle may have had something to do with it, but that wasn't a 'wicket' taking delivery to a good opening batsman, rather a lazy poor nothing waft. The angle did it IMO, it left him off the pitch a tad but he played because of the angle
Sorry about that and without wanting to place a further curse on proceedings, love Kane and doesn't he look in exquisite touch right now?Yeah thanks mate.....
Ha ha, just let me know when you want another one!Looking at the pitch and conditions overhead, really expected the NZ openers to be given a more testing examination in this opening session. Both Latham an Rutherford have played sensibly and worked the bad ball for runs but this SL attack have displayed very little consistency. Is it not as good a toss to win as pitch/conditions suggest or do this pace trio not quite have the skills to exploit it ?
Inevitably as I type SL get the breakthrough![/QUOTE]
you do realise that you arent allowed to go to bed now mate dont you?
Sorry about that and without wanting to place further curse on proceedings, love Kane and doesn't he look in exquisite touch right now?
just about two an hour would do nicely thanks Mate, dont want to tire you out or anything !!Ha ha, just let me know when you want another one!
C'mon mate, not Kane! That's just sacrilege.Sorry about that and without wanting to place further curse on proceedings, love Kane and doesn't he look in exquisite touch right now?
true, but it still says "W" in the book so we will have it...The angle may have had something to do with it, but that wasn't a 'wicket' taking delivery to a good opening batsman, rather a lazy poor nothing waft.
Yeah thanks mate.....
Two an hour's a tough ask, a couple of the SL placement are going to have to meet me halfway though and step it up a bit. They are showing signs of improvement though in the last half hour or so.just about two an hour would do nicely thanks Mate, dont want to tire you out or anything !!
Genuinely no intent on cursing him or you guys with that, I could happily watch him bat all day!C'mon mate, not Kane! That's just sacrilege.
Wonder if it has anything to do with which provinces they live in.Smith is obvs a Bracewell fan boi, Cumming a Wagner one.
Hint, none of them are genuine swing bowlersCommentators desperately trying to find excuses for SL not swinging the new ball on a greentop in NZ
