Hard to judge this pitch due to the rubbish SL are bowling.
Prasad pitches it up finally, lo and behold a false shot!

Nah, HerathWith the kind of bowling Sri Lanka has, wouldn't surprise me if New Zealand get 450 in the day.
There has to be an injury we don't know about.I'm so confused as to why Eranga was the one to get cut. He's the only SL pacer I've seen with decent seam release.

Yeah thanks mate.....Looking at the pitch and conditions overhead, really expected the NZ openers to be given a more testing examination in this opening session. Both Latham an Rutherford have played sensibly and worked the bad ball for runs but this SL attack have displayed very little consistency. Is it not as good a toss to win as pitch/conditions suggest or do this pace trio not quite have the skills to exploit it ?
Inevitably as I type SL get the breakthrough!

you do realise that you arent allowed to go to bed now mate dont you?
I'm not surprised. I've noticed he has a little weakness on bouncy decks. Looks a lot better on low decks.Didn't expect that from Latham
He's like a left handed Williamson at the moment, with the same early weakness for airy back foot punches.I'm not surprised. I've noticed he has a little weakness on bouncy decks. Looks a lot better on low decks.
Not sure it was the bounce on that particular occasion though, it was just a 'nothing' shot.I'm not surprised. I've noticed he has a little weakness on bouncy decks. Looks a lot better on low decks.
