It's hard to be critical of Kohli when he's played a couple of very good knocks, but does anyone else get the impression he sometimes thinks he's done enough and ist too worried if he gets out? As I say, it's a small criticism when he's batted so well, but I do get the impression tbat once he's proven his point, he relaxes and doesn't dig in mentally like he does when he first comes in.

As I say, it's only an impression I've gained of him.

Kohli has ishant and shami in his team and therefore plays in a **** team so he can't sledge and tall **** in pressers? Nah.

If he was failing fine but he's doing well. Needs to learn to field though.

You would think that kohli won by scoring 168.
can't deny he played a top knock today but to accuse Aussies of being hot-headed and not learning their lesson is laughable coming from a team that makes the same mistakes over and over. A lazy work ethic doesn't help or maybe that's their idea of calm

Record suggests this is the case.

Can't believe he took strike vs Mitch in the last over. ****ing rookie tactics.

Maybe he's just trying to put Australia off their game? Trying to shake things up? Really don't see it as him not being able to do it because he's surrounded by **** ****s who I wouldn't piss on if they caught fire.

Yeah I don't mind him having a go. I still think that the johnson throw was legitimately going to the stumps though.
Has any batsman ever actually been run-out in a situation like that? The situation being that they play a forward defence which goes straight to the bowler who feels the need to throw the thing straight back, because clearly the batsman was thinking of a run. And how many have been hit? Hell it's goes for overthrows a fair bit too. It's a ****ty 'tactic' and it needs to ****ing die already.

Yes. Roger Harper ran out Graham Gooch in a test match in England on the late 80s or early 90s. But then again he was Roger Harper.

That Lyon dropped chance is so bad.

Kohli can say whatever be wants in the pressers but seemed kind of dumb to accuse Australia of not learning from their lessons

I remember kohli being pretty far out of the crease actually, but yeah, he didn't actually need to throw it. But we're talking about johnson who keeps doing that dumb flick-it-back-to-the-non-strikers-from-the-back thing. He might be a dumbass but i don't think it's malicious.

As I mentioned earlier he can be as mouthy as he likes. It's the ammo that he's using which is suspect. He wants to accuse Aussies of the same things India are guilty of which comes off as stupid.

He can sledge all he wants. Can it in the pressers though. Just like Warner shouldn't have been canning Trott in the press during the Ashes last year.
