I remember his shuffle was more pronounced when he wasn't seeing them so well trying to prempt the bowling. It was just a phase and he came out of it of courseEh, Ponting scored about five thousand runs off people thinking they could get him LBW though.
Yeah it's a bit like Clarke with the short ball these days. There's something there that you could target, but if you get it wrong or he gets through it, you're going to be chasing leather all day (and then some), and you'd probably just be better off trying to nick him off or bowl him (in Clarke's case)I remember his shuffle was more pronounced when he wasn't seeing them so well trying to prempt the bowling. Yep. Smith's back and across works really well - in fact the only time I remember him getting out LBW in recent times was a Steyn reversing hellswinger first nut which frankly would have got anyone outTrue. You might get him lbw but at what cost?
Come to think of it Ponting's problems arose because his weight was falling away to off as he shuffled. That's not something I have noticed in Smith yet as he is usually well balanced
So much so that we can guarantee you'll make this post next year as well.we are known for our originality here at cw
