Excellent!!!

Both look fantastic.......brilliant work wiff:notworthy

As per James post up the page there are still opportunities for both Brisbane (howardj happy to share the load from day 2 on) and Sydney if you want to be the proud custodian of these flags for a day.

He's through the initial stage and has kicked arse in a Shield game, ****ing immense effort. But he'll need that sort of boost when he's not travelling so well so I'd still advocate hoisting it at the game.

Yeah, the Abbott one almost looks superfluous now...
I was wondering the same thing tbh, but I think TC is on the money. The young lad is obviously coping far better than expected, but I can't believe he is through this yet..........he's gonna have plenty of low times still ahead.

Been thinking about this, and what the NSW players have been saying about Sean Abbott, and I'd really feel uncomfortable about the Abbott poster. They keep talking about how they've been trying to completely separate Abbott out of it, almost divorce him from the situation, and I'm not sure that putting up a banner related to the Hughes incident really does it, it keeps his name in the conversation when I'm not sure it's wanted or necessary.

Yeah look I'm still in two minds about it too..........Brisbane test starts on Wednesday so we'd better make our minds up in a hurry.

Last thing any of us want is for the flags to have a negative affect on anyone.....especially Sean. If everyone can post their thoughts I guess we'll go along with the majority. I also guess if howardj has any reservations about it, it would be unfair to expect him to hang the flag up.

Absolutely agree with Vic

The players have resolved not to continue to associate Abbott with this

They're of the view that he is no more culpable than any other bowler who has bowled a bouncer

The banner was ordered 2 weeks ago and at that time took the pulse beautifully

That things have moved on doesn't change that but does mean that the banner is now inappropriate

Not inappropriate, just outdated

But still very well intentioned at the time and can still be proudly put up on this site

Phillip's banner is still good to go!

Yep. I've felt like this ever since it happened really.

And you never know - it may well be appropriate at a later date.

In the meantime, we should clearly edit it to "strong Abbott" or "stay Abbott".

It's a bit hard to edit a flag that has already been printed, I think it's to be shown or not to be shown. I am leaning towards not to be shown...
