Yeah Big test for siddle.

Unless he suddenly bags a whole lot of poles its all over for him I would hope.

Anyway. I think we are still ahead at this point. I mean, basically only two results are possible at this point and they Both Favour us.

India can definitely still win. Put on another 150 for the last five, bowl us out for 200, they're suddenly favourites.

I would agree re the recent history of our batting but i dont think the Indian attack is capable.

Besides, Siddle needs to accomplish something in this match.

Speaking of which. Ive barely seen a cricket article questioning his position in the side.

The 4 bowler strategy won't work for these four bowlers who are playing now. Need Bhuvi to keep things tight and cause problems with thennew ball. Ashwin should've been picked, but to be fair, we've not lost too much with Karn so far. Was decent in the first innings.
Think losing Ashwin's bowling is neither here nor there compared to Sharma but his not being at #8 could cost ****loads when it comes to saving this game

I hadn't previously noticed the speed gun when Marsh was bowling but he was at or above Siddle and looking at least as threatening. Siddle needs a miracle to keep in the side now.

I feel for Siddle because he was obviously crook yesterday. As much as I'm excited at the thought of Haze/ Cummins/ Patto/ Bird/ ABS (Anyone But Siddle) he's probably entitled to the benefit of the doubt for yesterday after he ate some dodgy Tofu.

I actually reckon Harris will go on until his knee(s) are completely shot* or he's dumped. He's played so little international cricket that I get the impression he's dead keen to get as much out of it as he can.

*Probably within the next 6-12 months, sadly.

He'll be back. No way will the Australian attack stay fit for any length of time, and Harris will more than likely call it a day in the next 6-12 months as well.
you do realise that fast bowlers get fitter as they get older right

Siddle will be around as an option for a while, but with guys like Haze, Cummins, Patto, Starc, NCN, Behrendorf etc coming through he'll be more back up than first choice I reckon.

After The Ashes, are Australia playing anybody good in test cricket? Would he not be tempted to retire from test cricket and maybe focus on coaching and making easy money playing t20? Maybe top up the bank balance by playing the IPL?

Why are the commentators praising Haddin as "to honest" he appeals for everything.

nah this is ryan harris we're talking about, no way is he giving up test cricket for some t20s

ever since the last ashes in england we've assumed he'll retire at the end of the serries but he keeps coming back. he'll do anything to keep playing test cricket so who knows how long he'll go on for, I think he'll be back here next summer
