MSD score runs and has a pretty terrible technique. That's a more general point. I'm talking specifically about India in these couple of overseas tours. A baptism of fire like the one in England will make them tougher characters imo. You can talk about technique being overrated all you want but those collapse were because the ball swung and there was substantial carry in the pitches. The first match in that series was on a far easier pitch, and we batted all right there. Yet, we almost collapsed in the second innings and lost the game on the last day. Took an innings from Binny of all people to get a draw. We were just as much under the cosh there as in the other tests. But because the conditions were good for batting they were able to get out of trouble.
Australia resorting to higher order jinxing techniques. Someone place Sachin & Rahul a callSteve Waugh tweets: Virat Kohli has impressed me yet again. Stands tall and confident out there. Plays like an Australian. #appreciation #goodform
lol No, Ishant's gonna be bounced out easily, Karn sharma looks more like a hitter rather than a technical batsman from the little I've seen, but I could be wrong. The less said about Shammi and Aaron the better.Indian tail is also long for this game. Karn Sharma can bat a bit but dunno how he would hold up at this level.
Beyond that it's Ishant who can hang around a bit and 2 standing wickets.
Exactly what I was thinking. Also I like how the commentators are back to baying for blood. Repeated highlights of Saha being hit. Didn't take all that long did it.
